Karen Murphy - Biography Managing Director Karen Murphy has over 15 years of direct sales and management experience with publicly and privately held firms including those within the Fortune 500 and has successfully increased revenues and brand recognition on behalf her clients. She began her recruiting career as the Director of Recruiting for a well-respected permanent placement firm based in the Boston area where Karen led recruitment and career development programs across many business disciplines and created and implemented successful business processes. Karen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education & Journalism and consults with business leaders in the areas of employee recruiting, compensation trends and staff development and retention.  On a personal note she is passionate about bringing value to clients and candidates, community involvement, cooking and entertaining, gardening, family and friends, reading, outdoor activities, world travel and caring for two gorgeous German shepherds.     Chris Athas - Biography Director of Recruiting Chris Athas has over 20 years of permanent placement recruiting experience and has successfully led recruiting efforts for noted regional companies as well as the Fortune 500.  In addition, for many years Chris successfully owned and managed his own recruiting firm, Athas Consultants, where he developed a significant recruiting track record in banking, financial services, human resources, information technology, and telecommunications. As a lifelong resident of the Boston Massachusetts area and Bentley College graduate, Chris is well connected in the New England business community helping companies to grow and develop through smart and focused recruiting initiatives.
